Google Forms Online Course
Ready to use Google Forms in your classroom? Starting May 11, learn the necessary tools to get started with Forms, Spreadsheets, and Add-ons for collecting student data, automating your grading and workflow, and quickly analyzing data and information. Learn how to build a form, use Google Spreadsheets and Add-ons more efficiently, automatically grade quizzes, and more! First Annual Data Award
The Data Analysis and Verification Team at the Mohawk Regional Information Center is accepting nominations for administrators and teachers in each of the four BOCES regions who use data in innovative ways to improve education and instruction. Nominees could include district level administrators who leverage data to improve curriculum, building level administrators who utilize data to improve student performance or behavior, or teachers who use data to thoughtfully engage students in collaborative efforts to improve their own learning.
The Data Leadership Awards will be presented to the winning administrators and/or teachers at the MORIC Data Boot Camp on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. We invite you to nominate individuals from your district for regional recognition by sharing information and evidence of their success in effectively utilizing data to improve learning at the district, school or classroom level.
Data Boot Camp
Workshops on data analysis best practices. Data teams analyze their own school/grade level data under the facilitation of data analysts. A significant portion of the day will be dedicated to District and School Inquiry Team planning. Districts should send a group or team of instructional leaders.
